It’s Friday and yet again another end to the week.  With new measures in place in Malta, most bars will be closed this weekend this means less people will be out and about.  Apart from that, with Corona Virus cases on the increase, most families may decide to stay home in front of their television.

So here is your choice of what’s on Malta’s television stations, with a choice of entertainment based programs for you to enjoy.

Friday Night

Min Imissu 8:30pm Satire and light entertainment – One TV

Saturday Night

Arani Issa 8:30pm Social and light entertainment –  One TV
The Entertainers 8:45pm Entertainment Program – Net TV

Unfortunately TVM does not focus on local entertainment on its channel on a Saturday evening instead it offers Queens, a foreign drama.

Sunday Night

Malta’s Got Talent 8:45pm Contest type entertainment – TVM
Min Imissu 8:30pm (repeat) – One TV

Sadly, Net TV does not have any entertainment programs on a Sunday evening dedicating most of it’s family evening prime time to sport. So if you prefer sport head on to Net Tv for its Sports program Replay on Sunday evenings.

Arani Issa is a popular local television program, featuring TV Presenter, Violinist and lawyer Dr Joseph Chetcuti as the Presenter. The program’s main theme bases itself around a social aspect while offering the best local entertainment to its viewers. This is the 15th year this program is on our television screens.

The main focus of the program is a social one. Joseph and his team help people reunite with lost friends, relatives or siblings. Other aspects it tackles include setting out to help people with various social difficulties.
