It’s Friday and yet again another end to the week.  With new measures in place in Malta, most bars will be closed this weekend this means less people will be out and about.  Apart from that, with Corona Virus cases on the increase, most families may decide to stay home in front of their television.

So here is your choice of what’s on Malta’s television stations, with a choice of entertainment based programs for you to enjoy.

Friday Night

Meander 8:45pm Cultural Programme – Net TV
Seraton 8:45pm Comedy and light entertainment – TVM
Min Imissu 8:30pm Satire and light entertainment – One TV

Saturday Night

Arani Issa 8:30pm Social and light entertainment –  One TV
The Entertainers 8:45pm Entertainment Program – Net TV

Unfortunately TVM does not focus on local entertainment on its channel on a Saturday evening instead it offers Queens, a foreign drama.

Sunday Night

Malta’s Got Talent 8:45pm Contest type entertainment – TVM
Min Imissu 8:30pm (repeat) – One TV

Sadly, Net TV does not have any entertainment programs on a Sunday evening dedicating most of it’s family evening prime time to sport. So if you prefer sport head on to Net Tv for its Sports program Replay on Sunday evenings.

The Entertainers is a light entertainment variety programme on Net TV every Saturday evening at 8:30pm. The programme is a Spiteri Lucas Entertainment production.

 The TV show features J Anvil who presents the variety. Guest artists including singers, magicians and other entertainers together with the Spiteri Lucas Band are a regular feature. The mixture makes Saturday evenings a pleasure to enjoy at home in the company of this programme.

The programme features several sections including songs sung by J Anvil and a cocktail section from Mixologist James Aquilina among other things.

Tune in to The Entertainers, with J Anvil and the Spiteri Lucas Entertainment team every Saturday evening on Net TV between 20.30hrs and 23.00hrs
