5. Spazzju Kreattiv Cinema Valletta, Malta

An intimate venue that you can find in the arts hub, Spazju Kreattiv at St. James Cavalier, showing culturescreenings. This cinema screens art-house movies both local and international. It also streams opera, theatre, and dance productions, from world-renowned companies such as the Met Opera, the Bolshoi Ballet, and the Royal Shakespeare Company to name a few.

So what about Gozo? Perhaps one would not expect such a tiny island to have a cinema but Gozo has its very own cinema showing the latest blockbusters and other popular movies.

1. Citadel Cinema Victoria, Gozo

The only cinema on the island of Gozo is housed in a 19th-century townhouse. Located in the center and capital of the island, Victoria,  it is close to the Citadel fortress. Showing here, are the latest blockbuster movies, as well as a 30 min audiovisual experience of stunning photographs depicting Malta’s sister island – “Glorious Gozo”
