Applications to compete to represent Malta for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 close this Sunday. That gives those still on the fence just a few hours to apply.
Last year’s edition was won by Valentina from France. Therefore the contest will be held in the French capital, Paris, on Sunday 19th of December 2021.
Malta has been very successful in previous editions of the JESC with Destiny winning in 2015. Destiny represented Malta during that edition, in Sofia, Bulgaria. She also represented Malta in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest finishing in 7th place with 255 points.

This year there seems to be a theme behind the date chosen for the contest. This year there are 19 countries participating in the 19th Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Therefore going for the 19th is quite logical thinking.
Here at Entertainment Malta, we expect the contest to be broadcast live on national television. It will sureley be a pleasure to watch children from around Europe lifting up the spirit of the season through this particular event.
