Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90 leaving his wife Micheline and sons Jason and Stephane and millions of fans worldwide to mourn.
The Scottish actor has an acting career that has spanned for over five decades. He is best known for his portrayal of the 007 Spy, ‘James Bond‘ but won an Oscar for his role in The Untouchables.
Family said that, having been unwell for some time, he died peacefully in his sleep in the Bahamas.
There will be a private ceremony followed by a memorial yet to be planned once the virus has ended.
Sir Sean Connery is not the only person in the entertainment industry to die on Halloween. Other notables include legendary names such as Harry Houdini.
